Our traditional tie-on waist beads are created with quality beads and durable high strength thread for long lasting wear that’s been tested for durability and longevity. Your strands will arrive with two anchor beads on opposite ends to guide you with your tying ritual. Please refer to tying instructions on how to tie your strand.
**Our waist beads are made for intentional purposes. They are created to promote self-love, self-healing and empowerment. Cleansing with sage or incense is recommended before wearing.
For accurate measurements, use measuring tape against your bare stomach.
1. Stand up straight and breathe normally. Wrap your measuring tape around your waist where you would like your strand/strands to rest. Hold the end of your tape in line with your navel and circle around your back until you are aligned with your navel. It should fit snug around your stomach without digging into your skin. Leave room for bloating.
2. Take a moment and breathe. Read the measurement on the tape. Your waist measurement will be the place on the tape where the zero/silver tab meets your measurement. The number indicates your waist measurement in inches.
**Please measure your waist in inches before placing your order to ensure correct sizing.
Wear and care is dependent on the wearer. Be gentle to them and they will last longer.
Due to the nature of your strands, you can shower, bathe, exercise and swim in your waist beads! Just be mindful once you adorn yourself, it is common for the wearer to lose sight of their strands and accidently pull on them while undressing or while using the restroom.
* It's natural to notice that certain beads/charms fade overtime. This is due to natural body oils and/or personal care routines. Natural fading/tarnishing will not take away from the energy of wearing your waist beads.
